AFTER SCHOOL: Sewing Workshop

About this event

Ballroom is all about creative expression. But not all of us know how to make or adjust our own looks. This workshop will help you get started. We’ll learn a skill that lasts a lifetime: making your clothes fit you. Whether it’s for an effect for a ball or your daily clothes, a good fit makes a difference.

- Learn how to adjust clothes to your body
- Bring a top that you’d like to adjust during the workshop
- No sewing experience needed

The workshop will be facilitated by Chevy Karto.

Part of our AFTER SCHOOL series: workshops for the ballroom community, in which you’ll learn practical skills to grow yourself outside of ballroom.

Andrea

Founder & Director

Andrea started the Utrecht Ballroom Scene in 2020 and is the Director of BALLROOM WORKS Foundation. She entered ballroom in 2019, is Mother of the Kiki House of Gabbana, and has walked and won across Europe.
