Summer of Pride Kiki: Part 2

I know you’re yearning for those hot, sunny summer days.. So why wait? Get into the mood already and get ready for another fab night in Utrecht. Last year, the kiki scene crowned Summer of Pride Kiki as the 2024 Ball of the Year. You know we had to bring it back bigger and bolder than ever.

For ALL categories in this ball, participants must wear an outfit that is in ONE of the colours of the intersectional Pride flag, AND with a touch of another color from the flag.

For example:
All white with a touch of blue
All pink with a touch of yellow
All black with a touch of red
Make sure your outfit has 1 main color and then a little touch of another color.

FREE STI TESTING
Together with GGD regio Utrecht, we’re offering free STI testing at the Summer of Pride kiki. Testing is available between 15:30 and 19:00 in a private area at the venue. Look out for the GGD banner. No appointments – walk-in only.

After a short questionnaire, nurses can test you (if relevant) for HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Hepatitis B. Vaccination for Hepatitis A/B may also be offered, depending on your situation.

You won’t get results the same day. After testing, you’ll get a code to check your results online. Results are ready in about 7 working days and you’ll get an email when they’re available.

Testing is free for everyone with a ball ticket, both walkers and spectators.

The kiki scene has always been about taking care of each other. During the HIV/AIDS crisis, balls became places where people could get information, support, and testing without judgment. That legacy is still alive today. Bringing testing to this ball is how we look out for each other.
