T4T Spaces: For the Boyz

About this event

Join us for another T4T Spaces – lowkey and informal hangouts for and by trans people, where we come together to connect, share, and just be.

This time we have a hangout For the Boyz, specifically for trans masc* people (who are interested) in ballroom. We’ll watch The Aggressives, a documentary that follows six people in NYC’s ballroom scene around the year 2000. The documentary sheds light on the long-standing presence of trans masc people in ballroom culture.

There’ll be snacks during the screening, time to discuss the film afterwards, and space to casually practice ballroom categories for those who feel like it. No experience needed!

* = any and all trans and nonbinary people on the masculine end of the gender spectrum – including trans men, masc-identified nonbinary people, and those still exploring.

Founder & Director

Andre started the Utrecht Ballroom Scene in 2020 and is the Director of BALLROOM WORKS. They have been in ballroom since 2019, and have walked and won across Europe.
