Welcome back to another edition of T4T Spaces: For the Boyz! This time we're joined by Workdatcxnt TM Sesh to host a day for the trans masc* community. Workdatcxnt is organised by Calvin 007 and Mandrake 007, and aims to empower and connect the transmasculine BIPOC community globally by hosting workshops, meetups, and a podcast that centers on Ballroom culture.

Part 1: Old Way Workshop, 16:30 - 18:00
For BIPOC trans masc* people

The first activity of the day is an Old Way workshop by James 007. James joined the Dutch ballroom scene in 2017 and established the Kiki House of Major, an all trans kiki house focused on uplifting and expanding trans performances in ballroom. He is also the co-organiser of PLAYGROUND, a practice space for and by members of the ballroom scene. Old Way is the original style of Voguing.

Part 2: For the Boyz Panel Talk, Dinner, and Hangout, 18:30 - 22:00
For all trans masc* people

After the workshop, we'll wind down the evening with a panel talk on what it's like to be trans masc* in the ballroom scene. We will cover topics like transitioning in ballroom, passing, walking categories other than realness, navigating the scene, sexualisation, and the history of trans masc* people in ballroom. Our panelists are Calvin 007, Mandrake 007, James 007, Lionel. Let the conversation continue over dinner and spend the rest of the night getting to know each other.

This event is free. Register via the ticket link.

*= Whether you're a trans man, non-binary trans masc, or just exploring masculinity in your identity, this space is for YOU.
