THE LAB: "Vote or Gag"

Elections are coming up on October 29th, so the evening will be inspired by “power to the people”.

We do this function with a twist. Leave your (major/kiki) house affiliations at the door and enter into a playful world of teams. At the start of the event, the walkers will be randomly assigned in teams of 4 to 5 people each. These teams form the "political parties" of the evening that will fight for the prize of Best Party. Be sure to arrive on time because all teams must register their party name with the Voting Administrator volunteers before 19:00 when the categories start.

Individuals in the parties can walk any category. If anyone shows up to the event late and is not part of a registered party, they can walk the categories solo as "Agents of Chaos". They will not be part of a team and are not eligible to win the cash prize.

Tonight, winning the categories has extra political flair. The winner of each category gets 10 points for their party.
If the winner is an "Agent of Chaos", they must give away their 10 points to a party of their choice.

But that's not all. At the end of the event, there will be a democratic twist. Everyone present (walkers and spectators) will vote for their favorite party.
The party that receives the most votes gets 50 extra points.

The party that has the most total points wins Best Party of the evening and will receive a cash prize of €200 to be split among the team members.
