About this event
T4T Day: For the Dolls and Boyz
Are you looking for a space to connect with other trans* people? On Sunday 22 February, join our first T4T Day of the year!
T4T spaces matter because you don’t always get to show up fully as yourself. This day is created to bring different parts of the trans community together, with space for specific experiences and time to connect as one community.
You’ll start the day together, move into sessions for specific groups, and end around a shared community dinner.
Program overview
16:00 – 16:30 | Shared opening
16:30 – 18:00 | Breakout sessions for trans femme people and trans masc people
18:30 – 21:30 | Community dinner & hang-out
For this edition, the break-out sessions focus on trans femme and trans masc participants. Future T4T Days will also create space for other groups within the trans community.
For the Dolls (16:30-18:00)
Trans fem* session - guided by Luluh and Sharmila
A guided group session where dolls come together to connect and share experiences. Through facilitated conversations, we explore how we relate to ourselves and each other. This is a space outside of ballroom structures, a moment to meet each other beyond pressure, performance, and competition.
For the Boyz (16:30-18:00)
Trans masc* session - guided by Lionel
A guided session focused on connection and exchange. Through icebreakers, games, and conversation starters, participants meet each other and share experiences. The session includes an interactive quiz on ballroom culture and history, with space to reflect together.
After the sessions, we’ll come back together for a shared community dinner (18:30-21:30)
*=Whether you’re a trans woman, trans man, non-binary trans fem/masc, or just exploring femininity or masculinity in your identity, this space is for YOU.
